• Merrimack man accused of scamming woman with fake lease agreement (wmur.com) — Merrimack police say a local man has been charged after allegedly taking more than $5,500 from a woman for a lease on a home he did not own or have authority to rent. Investigators describe this as his first criminal case, though civil complaints are pending, and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has opened an investigation while the man, who denies the accusations, is free on bail.
