1. November is National Novel Writing Month. Head to the Merrimack Library tonight from 6-8 p.m. to meet other aspiring authors who are taking the month-long challenge to write a first draft of a 50K word novel. You are welcome to bring your laptop or notebook and start writing! Share your ideas or steal someone else’s. Get tips from published authors! During the first hour four area authors will participate in a panel discussion.

This means they are meeting again tonight in the Town Hall Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda is a discussion about a proposed social media policy for town employees. Get the full agenda on the town website.

4. Voter ID. The general election is just five days away. Merrimack's Town Clerk Tax Collector wants to remind you to bring your photo ID to the polls to vote.
