5 Things: Donate To The Sandy Hook School Support Fund
Show off your culinary skills – Enter the New Hampshire Dairy Farmers Association New Hampshire's Own Macaroni and Cheese Bake Off.

1. Sandy Hook support. There is a Sandy Hook School Support Fund to help provide support services to the families and community that are affected. Check donations may be mailed to: Sandy Hook School Support Fund, c/o Newtown Savings Bank, 39 Main Street, Newtown CT 06470. If you have questions on the fund, you may call 800-461-0672.
2. Winter Concert. The Merrimack High School Music Department will presents its winter concert on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Merrimack High School Cafetorium. The show will include performances by the concert band, chorus, chamber choir and jazz band. A snow date is schedule for the same time and place on Thursday, Dec. 20.
3. Ribbon cutting and grand opening. Join the Merrimack Chamber of Commerce for another ribbon cutting and grandopening tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the new Qdoba Mexican Grill. Qdoba is locate at 17C Premium Outlet Boulevard. Look for their ad on Merrimack Patch, when you see it click on it for a coupon for a $5 entree and fountain drink.

4. Cook off. The New Hampshire Dairy Farmers Association will hold its annual New Hampshire's Own Macaroni and Cheese Bake Off on Saturday, Jan. 19, and sign ups are open for you to enter your best traditional or most creative mac and cheese. People who enter before Jan. 4. will be eligible to receive up to eight free bars of cabot cheese. Get more details and enter now!
5. Weather watch. More wet weather today with rain and areas of fog, with a high near 50. Tonight, rain will continue mainly before 5 a.m. and the low should hover just above freezing at around 35. A light wind during the day may get gustier as the day goes on.
