5 Things: Weston Park Sledding Hill is Open

Get out and have some fun in the first significant snow of the season.

Here are 5 things you should know as you start your Thursday.

1. Get out sledding. The sledding hill at Weston Park is re-opened this year after it was closed during the rehabilitation of the Turkey Hill Road Bridge in 2011. With the first snowfall since it's been reopened, why not get out and take a few rides down the hill once the roads are cleaned up a bit.

2. Holiday tournament action. Holiday basketball and hockey tournaments continue this evening for both boys and girls basketball and varsity hockey. The boys varsity basketball team will play at Manchester Memorial for the Queen City Invitational Basketball Tournament at 6 p.m. Girls varsity is schedule to play at Nashua North at 7:30 p.m. tonight an 4:30 on Friday. Boys varsity hockey is schedule to play in the Bauer tournament at JFK Arena in Manchester at 2 p.m. Updates will be provided in the event that any of these events are postponed because of the snow.
