1. Vote for Person of the Year. Voting is open today until 4 p.m. to help choose Merrimack Patch's Person of the Year. There are four candidates: Nelson Disco, Police Chief Mark Doyle, Peter Flood and Candy Simeone. Read their nominations and vote for the candidate of your choice at the bottom of the story.
2. Patch Facts 2013. I've been thinking about revamping this column, Patch Facts, in 2013 and want your input, since Patch is your community site after all. 4. Last day to apply. The Merrimack Public Library is looking for a part-time custodian to help maintain a safe and clean environment by performing gneral cleaning and building maintenance in a flexible schedule of 16-20 hours/week. Requirements include: Experience with general cleaning, building maintenance and repair (light carpentry/plumbing/electrical/grounds keeping). Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED and a valid license. Salary is $13.35-$18.63 depending on experience. View/print the full job description.
