5 Things: Meet Two Boston Bruins Next Week

Today's the last chance to enter our PEEP art contest.

We are equidistant between weekends. Who's ready for Friday? Here are five things you should know to make your Wednesday morning better.

1. Meet a Bruin or two. Arena Sports Bar in Nashua is hosting two Boston Bruins players next week starting with Tyler Seguin on Monday, April 1 and Milan Lucic on Wednesday, April 3. Get tickets now to meet one or both of them. Seguin: http://on.fb.me/Y12Kjd Lucic: http://on.fb.me/VFB5lp.

2. Scholarship deadline looming. College bound seniors have until one day left to complete applications for this year’s scholarship program. Applications are available in the Guidance Office or can be downloaded via the Internet at www.merrimack.k12.nh.us/mhs. This year, MHS will award approximately 100 scholarships totaling roughly $80,000. It is important that both students and parents fill out the application and return it to the Guidance Department by the deadline of March 28. No applications will be accepted after 3 p.m. If parents have questions, they should call Kathy Sketchley at the Guidance
Office, 424-6204, ext. 2.

4. Last day to show us your art skills. Today is the last day to show us how creative you can be with Easter's iconic marshmallow candy. Upload your photos by 5 p.m. today! Read more and upload your photos here.

5. Weather watch. Temperature's continue to climb this week. Today's forecast calls for a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. Tonight, a chance of rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Patchy fog after 4 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 31. P.S. Tomorrow looks even better!
