5 Things: Police Looking for Help With Thefts
Morning news and notes in a tidy package.

1. Crime help needed. Merrimack Police are looking for any help the public can give in a recent upswing of daytime burglaries and overnight snowplow thefts. Police are asking residents to be on alert, report suspicious activity and call them at 424-3774 with any information they may have about these incidents.
2. Share your favorite book. Twice a year, in January and June, the Merrimack Public Library's Monthly Book Discussion is open for participants to bring in a favorite book to share with others. This event in Wednesday night from 7-9. Get thinking now about what book you'd like to bring in . The event is open to adults and teens; registration is helpful but not required.

4. Snowball! While we have had some nice temperatures and weather over the last week, winter is again on the horizon. Get excited for a little snow in the forecast by watching Seattle residents make the Guinness Book of World Records for holding the largest-ever snowball fight with a whopping 5,800 participants.
5. Weather watch. Sunny skies and moderate temperatures on tap today before snow arrives tonight. Today should be mostly sunny with a high near 40. Tonight, chance of snow, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
