5 Things: Sign Up for Adult Ed Courses

Here are five things you need to know as your start your Friday. Happy weekend, Merrimack!

1. Adult ed classes. The Merrimack Adult Education program offers a variety of evening classes in the spring and fall. Topics include dance, fitness, digital photography, computers, crochet, fly tying, woodcarving, and many more. Most classes begin the week of Jan. 28. Download a PDF version of the brochure with the course offerings, the class schedule and a registration form. Registration due by Friday, Jan. 18.

2. Did you know? You can get things like meeting agenda's, the Town Manager's report, town and government press releases and more sent directly to your email. Just visit the town notices sign-up page to choose the notices you want to receive.

3. Commit to your resolutions. Looking for inspiration to commit to your New Year's resolution? Check out this creative video that was the result of a young filmmaker who kept his resolution of shooting one second of creativity every day of 2012. The product of his work is a great video with 366 one-second action clips set to a poppy tune. Happy resolution-keeping.

4. MHS sports schedule. Several games for Merrimack High School sports are scheduled for today and Saturday. Check out the slate of what's on tap.
