
Here are five things you should know as you start your Thursday.
1. Town Council meeting. The Merrimack Town Council will meet for a regularly-scheduled meeting tonight in the Matthew Thornton Room at 7 p.m. The board will consider approving the language of collective bargaining agreements with town union groups. Get the full agenda on the town website.
2. College planning. On March 16, families around the state are invited to Plymouth State University for the 14th annual college convention for high school juniors and parents. All of the day's events are FREE to students and parents. Attendees will enjoy a variety of free college planning workshops, a keynote speaker and have the opportunity to participate in scholarship raffles and attend a college fair. This signature event for high school juniors and parents is a collaborative effort between The NHHEAF Network Organizations and New Hampshire colleges and universities. 3. Mark your calendars. A high school informational night will be held Feb. 6 for parents and guardians of eighth grade students at Merrimack High School from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A letter with further details will be mailed from the high school.
