Amherst Candidate Drops Out Of Senate Race
Democrat Frederick Dyke declined his write-in nomination for the position.

An Amherst man has taken his name off of the November ballot for state Senator after receiving several write-in votes in September, according to The Nashua Telegraph.
Fredrick Dyke of Amherst turned down the Democratic nomination for the state Senate seat, which would have had him against Sen. Peter Bragdon, R-Milford.
Dyke said that he did not meet residency requirements and preferred to stay retired.
