Annual Kitty Angels Fundraiser Extravaganza is Nov. 2 and 3

Treasures Antiques, Collectables & MORE is preparing to host its annual Holiday Open House and Kitty Angels support weekend on Nov. 2 and 3. Festivities for the weekend will run both days from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and includes holiday-inspired shopping, refreshments and a few yet to be announced surprises. 

On hand during the event will be Kitty Angels, Inc., with several cats in need of homes, and Amherst Animal Hospital, who will be offering a rabies clinic and will help with any questions you may have about your pet. The New England Brethren of Pirates will also be at the events, as well as Nevejans’ Farm and Construction, who will set up a petting zoo!

Pet- and kid-friendly, this event will offer sales, face painting, wool spinning demonstrations, jewelry, jams, pickles, soaps and other smaller items for your use or gift giving. Silli Puffs, Anthony Acres Kitty Cat Farm, Laurel Hill, jewelry designer/crafter Karen Files, Cluck & Baa Farm, P C Kettle Corn, Funny Face 4U, Deion’s Delicacies and Valentine Seeds are among the special guests.

Treasures, will also offer a number of raffles and accept any donations in an ongoing effort to help raise money for Kitty Angels. Kitty Angels, Inc. is a no-kill cat shelter run by unpaid volunteers and dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats and assisting them with any health issues before placing them into “forever homes” with compatible owners. Cats are spayed or neutered and brought up-to-date on vaccines before being adopted out. Kitty Angels is a non-profit, charitable corporation and all donations are fully tax-deductible 100 percent of donations going to the care of the cats.        

Anyone who would like to help Kitty Angels but cannot make a monetary donation at this time could help with material goods such as postage stamps, cat food (both dry and canned), kitty litter (non-scoopable preferred, but any litter is good litter), medical supplies, bedding (clean towels, blankets, quilts, clean denim and corduroy, quilted bedspreads), carriers, cleaning supplies including bleach, laundry detergent and paper towels, photocopy paper, cat toys and cat furniture as well as trash bags.
