ARREST LOG: Drugs, Alcohol and Motor Vehicle Infracations

The following arrest information was provided by Merrimack Police Department. A arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following people were arrested on various charges in the last week.

Aaron Auld , 21, of 8 Park Ave., Merrimack, was charged with possession of marijuana on Oct. 24. At 10:21 p.m., Merrimack Police came upon a disabled motor vehicle on Amherst Road. They say while talking with the operator, Auld, he was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.  Auld was arrested and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He was ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Nov. 6 to answer to the charge.

Amy Palmer, 26, of 1 Woodgate St., Nashua, for operating under the influence of liquor. Merrimack Police say they stopped a motor vehicle on Baboosic Lake Road, on Oct. 25, for a motor vehicle violation. The officer who stopped Palmer said he noticed signs of impairment while speaking with her and conducted field sobriety tests. As a result, Palmer was arrested and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. Palmer was ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Nov. 6.

Paul Johnston, 39, of 11 Canterbury Way, Nashua, was charged with operating after suspension, operating with a suspended registration and non-inspection when he was stopped on Back River Road for a motor vehicle violation on Oct. 19. While checking Johnston's record it was learned that both his operating privileges and registrations were suspended by the New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles for a default on a court summons, police say. Johnston was subsequently arrested and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. He was ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Nov. 6.
