Asian Market Reopens In Merrimack After Fire Destroys Nashua Location

The Lanna Asian Market has held its grand opening at the new Milford Road location after the Nashua location was destroyed by fire.

MERRIMACK, NH — The Lanna Asian Market has opened, at a new location, after a fire gutted its former location at 495 Amherst St. in Nashua in September.

After nearly 10 months, Lanna Asian Market opened about one mile west at 707 Milford Road near the Nashua and Merrimack town line. The new location is in a small retail plaza visible from Route 101A.

In September, a fire at the Amherst Street location destroyed the Lanna Asian Market and the adjacent pizzeria. The fire is believed to have started around 7:30 p.m. inside the Lanna Asian Market and quickly spread and burned several power lines. People from Lanna Asian Food Market and Ciao Pizzeria escaped without injuries.
