Barnes Helping Improve Education for Best Value

To the Editor:

Shannon Barnes has done an outstanding job during her first three-year term serving the School Board, proving herself to be a valuable member. The board’s daunting task of improving the quality of education while getting the best value from educational dollars for Merrimack taxpayers have been bolstered by Shannon’s hard work, dedication and excellent communication skills. Her work on various subcommittees has allowed her to serve the Board as it impacts the needs of the community as a whole.  

Shannon has demonstrated her leadership ability and is the best candidate for the School Board. I look up to Shannon as a role model, particularly as a woman, for her sense of obligation to give back to the community while maintaining a family and career. Our town boards and committees would do well to have more women serving on them and I thank Shannon for her commitment! For all of these reasons, please join me in voting for Shannon for School Board on Tuesday.
