Boston Shows Strength, Solidarity at Bruins Game

Here are five things you should know as you start your Thursday.

1. Boston Strong. If you missed this touching moment of patriotism, solidarity and strength last night before the Bruins game, it's a must-watch. Refusing to be pushed down by the still-yet-to-be-arrested perpetrator or perpetrators of a horrendous act of violence at the Boston Marathon on Monday, the crowd took over the singing of the National Anthem, following a slideshow of images from the marathon. Watch the video above. Want to see the slideshow, too? Here you go.

2. Excellence in the Workplace awards. Eleven community members will be honored early this morning with a breakfast and ceremony during the Merrimack Rotary Club's annual Excellence in the Workplace award ceremony. See who is set to be recognized here.

3. Special Council meeting. The Town Council is scheduled to hold a special meeting tonight to first go on a tour of the Merrimack Highway Garage at 6 p.m. and then meet with HKT Architects, Inc. who will hold a visioning session  and present their current findings on the Highway Garage in the Matthew Thornton Room at 7 p.m.
