Budweiser Clydesdales Ready for Another Closeup

1) Town Yard Sale! The Annual Community Yard Sale is Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Watson Park. Call Parks and Recreation at 882-1046 to reserve space.

2) World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The Clydesdales are coming this Saturday, June 8. There's a special appearance by a full eight-horse hitch at the Merrimack facility.

3) Speaking of Budweiser: Did you know – the Merrimack plant produces about 3.1 million barrels of beer a year.

4) Did you know: There are approximately 659 boat registrations in Merrimack (per FY 2010-2011 town report).

5) D-Day Anniversary. Today is the anniversary of D-Day, the day in 1944 that U.S. and allied forces landed in Normandy and other parts of Europe, what History.com calls the "beginning of the end" of World War II.
