Elected Positions: I currently serve as Chair of the Merrimack Town Democratic Committee having been elected for my third term. I am also an elected Executive Member of the Hillsborough Democratic Committee and am serving my second term.
Personal: I am originally from Texas and have been a New Hampshire Resident for 16 years, 11 in Merrimack. I enjoy Merrimack’s many recreational opportunities and it’s sense of community. I am happily engaged to Jeff and have two beautiful grown daughters. Besides politics, I enjoy gardening and travelling.
Priorities: I would like to see a return to civility in the State House with legislation that is good for all of New Hampshire and without the voice of corporate special interests like the Koch Brother’s ALEC and Americans for Prosperity. I believe we can only keep the New Hampshire Advantage by prioritizing education, infrastructure and funding programs that take care of our elderly and disabled citizens.
Why am I running for office? I want to give back to the community that I enjoy being a part of and believe my hard work ethic and communication skills will serve my constituents well if I am elected. I will research all legislative issues thoroughly before I decide how to vote.
