COP LOG: Theft, Bears and a Cat Stuck Under a House

Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013

  • 12:26 a.m.: Arrested Matthew Stapleford, 28, of 101 McIntosh Lane, Bedford, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • 8:41 a.m.: Responded to Spartan Way for an accident with a parked car. Driver was Karen Pratt of Goffstown.
  • 10:07 a.m.: Responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 101A. No injury was reported, no further information provided.
  • 10:23 a.m.: Report of fraud on Birch Street.
  • 11:59 a.m.: Report of a possible burglary on Briarwood Drive.
  • 12:39 p.m.: Report of a stolen grass trimmer on Craftsman Lane.
  • 4:54 p.m. Responded to Daniel Webster Highway for a motor vehicle accident with a transport to Catholic Medical Center. Report handled by Bedford Police. No further information was provided.
  • 4:58 p.m.: Responded to TD Bank on Daniel Webster Highway for an armed robbery.
  • 8:30 p.m.: Responded to Kingston Court for a report of a cat stuck under a house.

Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013

  • 1:26 a.m.: Arrested Justin D. Ranger, 21, of 11 Country Club Drive, on a charge of possession of a controlled drug.
  • 9:54 a.m.: Report of 5 year old riding bikes in the roadway on Lawrence Road.
  • 10:49 a.m.: Responded to Baboosic Lake Road at S. Baboosic Lake Road for a two-car accident. Drivers were Bridget Roy of Brookline and Kenneth Kornreich of Wellsley, Mass. Three people were transported to a local hospital.
  • 4:31 p.m.: Bear sighting on Waterville Drive.
  • 6:14 p.m.: Arrested Joshua Martel Dion, 33, of 18 Colby St., Unit A, Manchester, on a charge of unsworn falsification.
  • 8:15 p.m.: Bear in the area of Tennis Court.
