Granite State Dog Recovery is still searching for a poodle or poodle mix that suffered serious injuries from getting its leg stuck in a trap.

A concerned citizen saw the dog dragging the trap down the road and helped to free its leg – the dog was last seen near the new guard rail on Amherst Road in Merrimack, between Meetinghouse Road and Riverside Drive, according to Granite State Dog Recovery's recent Facebook post on it.

The organization describes the dog as a poodle or mix, 10- to 15- pounds, black in color, with a matted coat. Its leg is apparently broken, and the dog suffered what are described as serious facial injuries.
