MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack Police and fire were called to the intersection of Pearson Road and Grape Vine Road Tuesday for a reported explosion.

The initial report was that a "pump house" had blown up. When responders arrived at the scene, the roof of the pump house was intact. Units on scene reported there was a large "crater," and to get everyone out of the area, shut down roads and stop using radio transmissions.

Roads were shut down and additional Merrimack officers arrived to assist.
