Monday, Dec. 10, 2012

1:59 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Colman Path for an adult female who had abdominal cramping.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female with abdominal cramping and bleeding. The patient was treated and transported to the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

8:04 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the intersection of John Tyler Street and Daniel Webster Highway for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a two-car motor vehicle accident. An adult male and adult female were assessed and refused transport

2:05 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the Motostar Tire Warehouse for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found a false alarm due to a sensor being blocked by workers. The system was reset and all units cleared.

3:44 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to Fidelity Investments for an adult female with slurred speech and dizziness.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult female with a possible allergic reaction to medication. The patient was treated and transported to the Elliot Hospital.

3:59 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Cambridge Drive to stage for Police.

Ambulance 2 and Engine 2 responded and staged for a domestic in progress. Both units were released by the Police Department with no patient contact due to no injuries to either subject.

4:39 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Medical Center for an elderly female who had difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 2 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female with shortness of breath, difficulty breathing. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

4:50 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a multi-family residence on Eastridge Road for an adult male with unknown injuries needing a lift assist.

Bedford Ambulance 2 was dispatched mutual aid due to all Merrimack Ambulances being committed to other calls. Engine 2 responded and found an adult male with no injuries, but needing help into his home. The subject was assisted into his home with no further issues.

6:41 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the vicinity of the old Shaw’s plaza for a possible diabetic emergency.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 3 responded and found an adult male in a vehicle having diabetic issues. The patient was treated and refused transport.

7:24 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Naticook Road for an unknown medical call.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult male with nausea, vomiting, and weakness. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012

12:49 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Linda Lane for a water problem.

Engine 1 responded and found a homeowner with flooding in his basement due to a broken water pipe. The Merrimack Village District was notified to respond to shut the water at the street valve. Fire Department personnel assisted the homeowner in dewatering the basement until the MVD could shut down the water.

9:23 a.m.: Station 1and 2 were dispatched to Fidelity Investments for a possible diabetic emergency.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult male with a diabetic issue. The patient was treated and refused transport.

10:11 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Mastricola Elementary School for a juvenile male who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 responded and found a juvenile male with back and neck pain. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

11:05 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Medical Center for an elderly female who had difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 2 responded and found an adult female with a severe headache and dizziness. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

12:41 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family residence on Kingston Court for an adult female having hallucinations.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult female with neurological issues. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

12:41 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family residence on Oriole Court for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female with head injuries from a fall. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

5:37 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the intersection of Greeley Street and the FE Everett Turnpike for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found a multi car motor vehicle accident. An adult pregnant female patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center

9:36 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the Thomas More College for an adult female with a headache.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult female who had a headache, vision changes and hand numbness. The patient was assessed and refused transport.

10:25 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Care Plus Ambulance Office for a reported smell of natural gas.

Engine 1 responded and found a slight gas odor. The property representative was advised to contact a gas contractor for inspection/repair to the heating system.

Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012

2:42 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to Connell’s Plaza for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found a false alarm due to a system malfunction. The system could not be restored and the property representative was advised to contact an alarm contractor for repairs.

11:01 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family residence on Arlington Street for an elderly female who had difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female with shortness of breath. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

11:16 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Pinewood Drive for an adult female with chest pain.

Ambulance 2 and Ladder 1 responded and found an adult female with possible cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

5:08 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Woodward Road for a reported motor vehicle accident, possible rollover.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found a single car motor vehicle accident, car rolled onto its roof. A teenaged male was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

9:27 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Baboosic Lake Road for an elderly female who had difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female with shortness of breath, difficulty breathing. The patient was treated and transported to the Elliot Hospital.

11:56 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a multi-family residence on Heron Cove Drive for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an elderly female who had fallen and injured her knee. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012

12:12 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Bates Road for an adult female who had difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult female with shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and chest pain. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

2:01 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Mobil on the Run for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 responded and found a false alarm due to a system malfunction. The system could not be restored and the property representative was advised to contact an alarm contractor for repairs.

5:54 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Holly Lane for an elderly female who needed a lift assist.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female who needed help getting to her feet. The patient was assessed and refused transport. 

6:53 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the intersection of Greeley Street and Daniel Webster Highway for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found a 2 car motor vehicle accident. Several subjects were assessed and refused transport

7:50 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family residence on Scituate Place to stage for police.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 and staged until cleared to approach by the Police Department. Upon arrival Fire Personnel found an adult male who had a headache and diabetic symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. 

8:16 a.m.: Station 1and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Oxford Street for an unknown medical.

Ambulance 2 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult male who had diabetic symptoms. The patient was treated and refused transport.

9:49 a.m.: Station 2 was dispatched to Seaverns Bridge Road for a residential lock-out.

Engine 2 responded and found a resident locked out of their home. A proof of ownership was provided and access was gained.

10:28 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Naticook Road for an elderly male who had leg pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an elderly male who had fallen earlier and now had hip pain. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

11:55 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Ichabod Drive for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation.

Engine 1 responded and found a homeowner who stated her CO detector had started alarming for elevated levels shortly after she arrived home. Investigation showed elevated levels throughout the home. The source was determined to be a vehicle that was left running in the garage. The home was vented to remove any CO.

1:20 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Buckmeadow Lane for an elderly male with a possible head injury.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly male with a feeling of light headedness possibly from an earlier head injury. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

1:24 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family home on Jakes Lane for an unknown medical call.

Engine 2 responded and requested a mutual aid ambulance as all Merrimack Units were committed to other calls. A Bedford ambulance was dispatched. Upon arrival fire personnel found an elderly male with a nose bleed. The patient was treated and refused transport

6:18 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Merrimack House of Pizza for an adult male with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult male with possible cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

6:42 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to The Common Man Restaurant for an adult female who was unresponsive.

Ambulance 2 responded and found an adult female with signs of intoxication. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center

10:06 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to Peaslee Road for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a single car motor vehicle accident, a truck into a tree. The driver refused treatment or transport.

8:08 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Baboosic Lake Road for an adult male having a seizure.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult male who was recovering from a seizure. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.
