Fire Rescue Responds to Trash Fire, 3-Car Crash, 14 Medical Calls

Monday Oct. 21, 2013

9:48 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Medical Center, 696 Daniel Webster Highway, for an adult female with dizziness.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female with neurological symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

3:03 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the F.E. Everett Turnpike in the vicinity of Exit 12, for an adult female with difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult female with respiratory issues. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

7:19 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a multi-family residence on Bowers Landing Drive for an adult male with dizziness.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult male with neurological symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

10:49 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family residence on Beebe Lane for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an elderly female who had fallen and needed a lift assist. The patient was evaluated, assisted into a chair and refused transport.

Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013

10:49 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single-family residence on Bishop Street for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an elderly female who had fallen and was confused and lethargic. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

12:24 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Summit Building, 534 Daniel Webster Highway, to check a fire alarm.

Engine 1 responded and found a problem with the fire alarm system. The property owner was notified of the problem and stated they would have it repaired.

9:23 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single-family residence on Winding Brook Lane for possible overdose.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female who had overdosed on medication. The patient was treated and transported to the Elliot Hospital.

Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013

3:42 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the vicinity of Watson Park for a reported unconscious male.

Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult male with no medical issues. The subject was left in the custody of the Merrimack Police.

4:18 p.m.: Station 1and 2 were dispatched to the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for an adult female who had fainted.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult female who had passed out. The patient was evaluated and refused transport.

4:21 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the vicinity of Bradford Drive near Brookfield Drive for a report of power lines down.

Engine 1 responded and found a tractor trailer that had pulled wires from a power pole. The wires were on the vehicle and the driver was still in the cab. The scene was secured and upon the arrival of PSNH power was cut and the driver was able to exit the vehicle.

6:47 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found a false alarm due to workers using a steam cleaner.

7:01 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Brenda Lane for an adult male with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult male with cardiac issues. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013

6:52 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Back River Road for an elderly male with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly male with cardiac issues. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

10:28 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the vicinity of Wesbell Electronics, 390B Daniel Webster Highway for a reported dumpster fire.

K1 and Engine 1 responded and found a fully involved dumpster fire in proximity to the building. The fire was extinguished and the cause was determined to be due to improper disposal of smoking materials.

4:47 p.m.: Station 1and 2 were dispatched to Pizza Hut, 727 Milford Road for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1and 2 responded and found a false alarm due to workers installing a new heater.

5:51 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the F.E. Everett Turnpike in the vicinity of Exit 11, for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a three-car motor vehicle accident. Three adult males were evaluated and all refused transport.

6:11 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Sunset Drive for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an elderly female who had fallen and had a head injury. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

6:27 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Coventry Court for an elderly female with difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 2 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly male with pneumonia. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

7:24 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Medical Center, 696 Daniel Webster Highway, for an elderly male with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an elderly male with cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

11:22 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Cascade Circle for an elderly male with dizziness.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an elderly male with neurological issues. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.
