Found Pup and 2 Lost Cats: Help Reunite These Families

Morning news and notes for Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Found Pup. The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire in Bedford is looking for the owners of a pup found near Sentry Way in Merrimack recently. He was brought in to the ARL with a paw print caller, but no identification. If you know who this dog belongs to, please call 472-3647. His picture is above. 

Missing cats.
Two cats have also been posted on Patch in the last few days by pet owners who are missing them. Thor, a 4-year-old gray cat has been missing from the Heidi Lane/Turkey Hill road area of Merrimack since Sunday Oct. 20. He is approximately 7 lbs, gray, short hair, with a small but visible scar on his right eye ball, average build. If you find him or have happened to take him in from the cold, please let the owner know by contacting him at this link: http://ow.ly/qgJwj. On Monday night, another missing cat appeared on Patch. The owners are looking for their cat Kiwi, who disappeared two weeks ago from Parker drive area. Daylight saving time ends. Don't forget to change your clocks this Saturday before you go to bed. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday. The good news? An extra hour of sleep. The bad news? It's going to be dark around 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Weather watch. Don't forget a cozy fall coat when you head out today, it's going to be chilly. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies, but a high 49. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a high of 27.
