1) Being a good neighbor. Anheuser-Busch Brewery employees are volunteering today, June 5, with the New Hampshire Rivers Council to help clean up McQuesten Brook.

4) Gold Standard. Eighty-years ago today, President Franklin D. Roosevelt took the United States off the gold standard, according to History.com. Some people, including Ron Paul, have argued for a return to the Gold Standard to help America get its fiscal house in order.
