Hudson Man Charged With Domestic Assault

Merrimack Police arrested a Hudson man Sunday after a person walked in to the police station early in the morning to report a domestic altercation that had just happened at their home.
Glenn Wallace, 53, of 112 Central St., Hudson, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic criminal mischief when he was arrested under the state's 12-hour law that allows for arrests to be made in domestic situations without the need for a warrant.
According to police, the reporting party showed up at the police station at 4:40 a.m. on Aug. 18 to report the altercation in which they said they were punched in the face by Wallace who then took the person's cell phone and broke it by throwing it on the ground.
An alert was broadcast to find Wallace and Hudson Police were also advised of the situation. Wallace was arrested in Hudson and transported back to Merrimack where he was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.
He was due for arraignment in Merrimack's district court today, Aug. 20.
