Sabers stuff Tomahawks, make Turkey Bowl win look like gravy in Mike Beliveau's final game as SHS coach.

MERRIMACK – Turkey Bowl triumphs have become as commonplace on Thanksgiving as stuffing and cranberry sauce for the Souhegan High School football team, which earned a 41-14 win over annual rival Merrimack in today's annual holiday battle.

The "W" – the Sabers eleventh in the 16-year series between the neighboring high schools – allowed SHS to retain the coveted milk jug, which is awarded to the victor of the yearly Thanksgiving-day matchup.

Souhegan won last year's game, 48-21, after dropping the 2010 Novemeber clash, 54-15.
