Join MMS in Wearing Blue for Autism Awareness
Here are five things you need to know as you start your Tuesday morning.

1. Wear blue. Merrimack Middle School students will participate in a show of solidarity today to raise awareness for World Autism Awareness Day. They invite you to dress in blue, too. Learn more about the Light It Up Blue movement and World Autism Awareness Day and follow World Autism Awareness Day on Facebook to see how others around the world are responding to the call for action.
2. Planning board meeting. The Merrimack Planning Board will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Matthew Thornton Room. On the agenda they will talk representatives from College Bound Movers about building a commercial moving facility at 723 and 725 Daniel Webster Highway. Get the full agenda online.
3. Rabies Clinic. Merrimack's annual rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the garage located behind the town offices on Baboosic Lake Road. Rabies vaccine for dogs and cats will be provided at a cost of $20 per shot. Residents and non-residents are all welcome. Please bring dogs on a leash and cats should be in carriers. For those who do not have a carrier for their cat, a pillow case works very well. The Town Clerk's office will open this Saturday morning for the convenience of residents who wish to register their dogs while they are there. For further information, contact Lynn Christensen at 424-0084.
