King Kone Opens to Steady Stream of Customers

Merrimack ice cream hot spot King Kone opened for its 41st season on Saturday, March 23.

Though a bit windy, sunshine and seasonable temperatures meant a steady stream of cars in and out of the ice cream stand that dishes up a rotation of soft-serve flavors for about six months a year, and some fast food.

Flavors available at the season's start include chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, black raspberry, coffee and mocha. Though King Kone doesn't have an official Facebook page, it does have a Twitter account where they update flavors and communicate with their fans. Find them on Twitter at @KingKoneNH.
