New Paint Night Location to Open in Nashua

Paint and sip. Have you been bitten by the paint night bug yet? It's all the rage right now, where you attend an art session where an instructor walks you step-by-step through creating your own masterpiece while you sip wine or beer and enjoy a night out with friends and stranger. This experience is coming to Nashua with a new venue called Art With a Splash, which is scheduled to open Aug. 15. Read more about this new shop on Nashua Patch.

If you liked Tuesday's weather, get ready to like today's too. The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 81. Tonight, a slight chance of showers between 2 and 3 a.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 61.

Stop & Shop announced on Tuesday it will close all its stores in New Hampshire. This includes stores in Manchester, Milford, Bedford, Hudson and Exeter. This comes on the heels of Shaw's announcing a week ago that it would close six underperforming stores in New Hampshire.

Summer reading finale. Celebrate your summer reading at the Merrimack Public Library's Finale Picnic in the Park - this year, in conjunction with the Merrimack Summer Concert Series at Abbie Griffin Park! The picnic is Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The special guest during this evening will be Steve Blunt, storyteller and musician. Bring a picnic dinner for the concert, and the library will provide an ice cream dessert at intermission! Rain location at the high school.
