LETTER: Country Needs Someone to Protect Liberties

Maloon calls for voters to choose Romney in 2012.

To the Editor:

Every citizen should have been proud when President Obama was chosen to receive the Nobel Peace prize on Dec. 10, 2009. Unfortunately we learned once again that pride comes before a fall. We need a person who understands the principles of business. We need a person with high moral principles. We need a person who will protect our liberties. We need a person who will work to assure government does not enslave its citizens. We need a person who will use our constitution as a basis for decision making to preserve our natural rights including life, liberty and protection of property. We need a person of high moral character. With the notable exceptions of David Petraeus (CIA) and Hillary Clinton (Department of State), it seems we read daily of excessive abuse of power by non-elected government officials or czars appointed by this President. What happen to virtue?  If Gov. Romney were to win the Nobel prize, I predict he would start his address with " Citizens of America"... rather than as Obama did  " Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses..."
