Local Man Charged in Domestic Assault
Charge filed after Merrimack police respond to Belmont Drive for domestic disturbance report.
Merrimack police have arrested a Belmont Drive man and charged him with domestic-related simple assault.
James Keane, 53, of Belmont Drive in Merrimack, was charged after officers responded to a residence June 7 for the report of a domestic disturbance in progress, police said.
Keane allegedly assaulted a family member at the residence during an argument, according to Merrimack police. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and he is scheduled to appear in court June 10 on the one charge.
