Local Man Faces Simple Assault, OUIL, Robbery Charges
Police also accuse the man of stealing a bottle of liquor from the State Liquor Store.
Merrimack police arrested a local man and charged with domestic/simple assault, operating under the influence, theft, unauthorized taking, robbery and operating after suspension.
Police said Robert Deangelis, 35, allegedly grabbed a homeowner and forcibly took his keys from the person at a local condominium complex. He is then accused of driving to a nearby State Liquor Store and stealing a bottle of liquor.
Responding officers found him back at the residence, where he was arrested. He was scheduled to appear in court April 4 to answer to the charges.
