Local Resident Looking for Possible Pumpkin Donor

Pumpkin donation. Merrimack resident Patty Mercier Witzenbocker posted a callout for help on Facebook Wednesday, seeking a pumpkin to be sent to a Marine stationed overseas. Here's what she's looking for: "I had a request from a marine stationed over in Japan that has requested a pumpkin for Halloween. He hasn't seen his family in over a year and I would love to do him this small favor. Would any one out there (local farm stands) be willing to send one to this soldier?? If interested call me at 494-4072 and I can give you the info."

Friday Night Football. Merrimack's varsity football team is scheduled to play Bedford at home tonight. The Bulldogs lost their first game of the season last weekend, handed to them by Concord by a score of 34-27. Head out tonight to cheer along the Tomahawks in what promises to be challenging game. The game starts at 7 p.m.

ICYMI. On Wednesday we posted this week's fugitive of the week, Michael Delgreco. He was last known to live in Hudson, but he has ties around Southern New Hampshire. Delgreco is being sought on an outstanding arrest warrant for probation violations stemming from an original conviction for heroin sales, possession and manufacturing. Can you help apprehend him?
