Man Accused of Sunglasses Theft

Merrimack police arrested a local man and charged him with a felony-level theft charge on April 16 for allegedly stealing sunglasses valued at $345.

Police said Tyler M. Letourneau, 22, of 302 Continental Boulevard, Merrimack, was arrested on a warrant for an alleged theft of sunglasses from Solstice, located at the Merrimack Premium Outlets.

Store surveillance helped identify Letourneau, according to police. The Dior brand sunglasses are valued at $345. The charge was elevated to a felony-level offense because police say Letourneau had prior convictions for theft.

Letourneau was scheduled to appear in Merrimack Circuit Court on April 16.
