Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Officers

A Merrimack man was charged with struggling with police officers and threatening to kill them last week after police tried to take him into custody for intoxication.
Herman Deyette, 51, of 21A Eastridge Road, Merrimack, was arrested on Oct. 15 on charges of resisting arrest and criminal threatening.
Deyette was arrested on a warrant out of Merrimack based on an incident on Oct. 12 when members of the Merrimack Police Department were called to the East Ridge Condominium Complex for the report of an argument.

Upon arrival, officers said they found Deyette, who was believed to be involved in the argument, walking in the area. Deyette was intoxicated and uncooperative as officers attempted to investigate. As officers attempted to take him into custody for being intoxicated Deyette allegedly resisted and struggled with officers.
Deyette also allegedly threatened to kill officers as they continued to attempt to take him into custody, which they were able to do. He was transported to an area hospital for an evaluation and a warrant was later completed for his arrest.

Deyette was arrested and transported to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in lieu of $500 cash bail. Deyette was also placed on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16 to answer to the charges.

Also arrested recently was Peter Parlow, 48, of Wintergreen Drive in Merrimack, who was charged with two countrs of domestic simple assault.
Parlow was arrested on a warrant based on an investigation that began Oct. 12 after police were contacted regarding the alleged incident in which Parlow allegedly assaulted a family member.
Parlow was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and was due in the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack on Oct. 19, to answer to the charges.
