Man Charged With Speeding While Driving Drunk

A Massachusetts man was charged on drunken driving and speeding charges, a dangerous combination especially given the conditions at the time, police sai.

Timothy Zoulias, 24, of 38 Summer St., apt. 8A, Haverhill, Mass., was charged early Friday morning with aggravated operating under the influence of     intoxicating liquor and unreasonable speed.

Police say around 2 a.m. they saw a car operating at an unreasonable speed for the conditions and pulled it over. While talking with the operator, police say they noticed signs of impairment and after a short investigation, arrested Zoulias. 

He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the 9^th Circuit Court, Merrimack Division on May 16.
