Man Charged With Theft of Landscaping Materials

Police say he was caught on surveillance came taking supplies from local landscaping business.

A Deering man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing landscaping supplies from a local business.

Richard Pinkham, 28, of 57A Pleasant Pond Road, Deering, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking when he turned himself in on the charge.

Merrimack Police say a local landscaping company reported the theft of metal irrigation supplies, and after reviewing the business video surveillance Pinkham was observed removing the parts from a storage bin and removing them from the building.

The value of the supplies taken exceeded $1,500, making the charge a class A felony.

Pinkham was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. He is due in  the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on June 4 to answer to the charge.
