Manchester Police Arrest 8 On Prostitution Charges

Eight people were arrested Friday during a day-long police investigation regarding prostitution.

MANCHESTER, NH — Eight people were arrested Friday on prostitution charges. The arrests were the result of a day-long police investigation in the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets in Manchester. The prostitution detail, involving unmarked cruisers and officers wearing plan clothes, were in response to police receiving several quality of life complains from that area, Manchester police say.

The first arrest occurred around 8:20 a.m. Friday, when 27-year-old Noorullah Azizi agreed to exchange money for sexual favors while speaking to an officer wearing plain clothes, according to police. Azizi was arrested on the charge of prostitution and placed in a marked police vehicle without incident.

Then, around 9:30 a.m., an undercover officer in an unmarked vehicle was approached by 23-year-old Kira Crayton in the area of Lincoln and Hanover streets. Crayton was arrested on a prostitution charge after she agreed to exchange money for sexual favors with the officer, who was wearing plain clothes at the time, police say.

Then, in the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets, 44-year-old John Igeihon approached an undercover police officer and agreed to pay money for sexual favors, police say. Igeihon was arrested on a prostitution charged and was placed in custody in a marked police cruise

Another man, Alijah Kapetanovic, then pulled up in a van in the area of Union and Beech streets around 11:25 a.m. Kapetanovic agreed to pay cash in exchange for sexual favors, and he was also arrested on a prostitution charge.

On Manchester Street, 28-year-old Mistie Donoghue Bourgeois approached an undercover police officer and agreed to perform sexual favors in exchange for money, according to police. Donoghue Bourgeois was arrested on a prostitution charge and a contempt of court charge.

Around 1:25 p.m., 42-year-old Joshua Mimms pulled into the west side of Lincoln Street, between Laurel and Merrimack streets. Police say that Mimms spoke with an undercover officer and agreed to pay for sexual favors. He was arrested on a prostitution charge.

Shortly after, 30-year-old Julio Samaniego approached an officer on Lincoln Street and agreed to pay cash for sex, police say. He was charged with prostitution.

Robert Connolly, 71, also approached an officer and agreed to pay cash in exchange for sex, police say. Samaniego was arrested and charged with prostitution.

All eight arrested on prostitution charges were released on personal recognizance bail and they are scheduled to appear for arraignment at Manchester District Court on May 23.
