Mary Kate and Amanda Want to Warm Their Way into Your Heart

Meet this week's pets of the week from the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.

Amanda

My brother and I came in when my owner got sick and could no longer care for us. He has since been adopted, and now I’m ready to go to my new home too! I’m young at 3½ years old, and can be unsure when you first meet me.  I’ve already bonded to a few of the volunteers here, and I know that once I’m home in a calm environment I will come out of my shell and blossom.  I would like an owner who is willing to be patient with me while I get comfortable and I would probably do well with another more confident kitty who will show me the ropes! If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl who just needs a little extra TLC then come meet me at The Humane Society for Greater Nashua at 24 Ferry Road in Nashua. Like all the pets at HSFN I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccines.

Mary Kate

Hi everyone! It’s me, Mary Kate! I’m the sweetest girl around. I came into the shelter as a stray, and everyone here thinks I’m only around 2 years old. Since I’m a Pit Bull cross I have a high energy level, but I can also settle really nicely for cuddle time. I can be shy with new people, but once I warm up to you I’m as loyal as they come. I’ve met some dogs here that I really love and might do well living with a canine friend- I do pick and choose what dogs I like though. The staff has taught me how to “sit”, and I know that I would do really well in training with my new family. Speaking of them, I would prefer to live in an active household with kids that are teens and older. If you’re looking for a doggie pal to play ball with, hike with, and more, then come give me a chance!  Don’t forget, all new adopters receive a FREE first Vet visit to your choice of 16 area vets.
