MERRIMACK 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

We are now just 2 weeks away from the Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Celebration. Merrimack’s 4th of July Festivities are a public/private collaboration between the Town of Merrimack; the Rotary Club of Merrimack, the Merrimack Road Runners Boosters Club and who are assisted by a number of other community organizations.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST
FREE MOVIE NIGHT @ ABBIE GRIFFIN PARK
Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
TIME: 8:00 - 9:20 PM

FRIDAY, JULY 3RD
MERRIMACK CONCERT ASSOCIATION
Holiday Concert @ Abbie Griffin Park
TIME: 6:30 - 8:30 PM

SATURDAY, JULY 4TH
SPARKLER 5K ROAD RACE
Organized by the Merrimack Road Runners Boosters Club. Race begins & end at the Merrimack YMCA
*Manchester Street will be closed from 7:30 - 10:00 am. There will be a lane closure on Daniel Webster Highway between BAE and Henry Clay Drive.
TIME: 8:00 AM

ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Organized by the Rotary Club of Merrimack and held at Merrimack High School.
TIME: 8:00 - 11:00 AM

FAMILY FUN DAY
Organized by the Rotary Club of Merrimack and feature a wide variety of family activities all day long. Held at the Mastricola School Fields.
TIME: 12:00 - 9:00 pm

ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY PARADE
Organized by the Parks & Recreation Department. Parade begins at the Commons Shopping Plaza/Tractor Supply and ends at Merrimack High School.
TIME: 1:00 PM

ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY

MERRIMACK 4TH OF JULY PARADE ROUTE

The Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade is organized by the Parks & Recreation Department and is one of the largest Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire. The Parade is always held on July 4th and begins at 1:00 p.m from the Commons Shopping Plaza (Tractor Supply) which is located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway.

Details: Children of all ages are invited to participate in the 4th of July parade by decorating their bicycle, wagon or stroller. The 4th of July Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses and much more. The parade is held rain or shine.

The Parade begins at the Commons Shopping Plaza (Tractor Supply) travels south down Daniel Webster Highway. It then takes a right onto Baboosic Lake Road and travels past Mastricola School and then takes a left onto O’Gara Drive. The parade concludes at Merrimack High School. The entire route is 1.3 miles long.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed to help out during the 4th of July Parade from 11:30 - 1:30 pm with parade logistics. If you are interested in volunteering , please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 882-1046
