United Way of Greater Nashua is seeking volunteers for their upcoming community food drives and women’s hygiene drives in November and December
The additional food drives and women’s hygiene drives are meant to meet the increased demand for food products and women’s hygiene products in the Greater Nashua community
Nashua, NH – October 26th, 2022 – United Way of Greater Nashua is seeking volunteers for their upcoming community food drives and women’s hygiene drives. United Way of Greater Nashua has added extra food drives and women’s hygiene drives to their schedule in November and December to meet an increased demand for food supports and women’s hygiene products. The additional drive dates require more volunteers to staff the drives.
The food drives will occur every Saturday at local supermarkets from 10am to 2pm. The food donations received go to community pantries in Greater Nashua such as the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, the Salvation Army, End 68 Hours of Hunger, and the Employee Food Pantry at St. Joseph Hospital.
This is a great opportunity for high school students who need community service hours, but people of all ages are invited to help. This is a good way to be social and give back to our community. The women’s hygiene drives take place every second and fourth Sunday at Hannaford in Nashua. Women’s hygiene supplies will be used to stock Rosie's Pantry, United Way of Greater Nashua’s women’s hygiene pantry hosted by Girls Inc., and supply some of the neediest schools in the Nashua School District.
