Merrimack Fentanyl Dealer Arrested: Police

Merrimack police said Stephen Pierce was arrested after an undercover investigation.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Merrimack man was recently arrested after police said he sold fentanyl to undercover officers. Stephen Pierce, 24, was charged with two counts of selling drugs, two counts of drug possession and transporting drugs in a vehicle. He was released on bond.

Police Sgt. Sean Cassell said Hollis police and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office opened an investigation into Pierce in November and undercover officers purchased heroin mixed with fentanyl from him on two occasions. A warrant was issued and Pierce was arrested in his vehicle Jan. 9 in Merrimack.

Officers found five grams of heroin mixed with fentanyl and Seroquel pills in the vehicle, according to Cassell.

Since the arrest, Cassell said officers have worked to identify suppliers and customers associated with Pierce and further charges are possible.
