Merrimack Man Held on Multiple Domestic Assault Charges
Police say Matthew Bobola assaulted a family member on Jan. 2.

A Merrimack man was held on $50,000 cash bail after he was arrested Wednesday on several domestic violence-related charges.
Matthew Bobola, 44, of Hilton Drive, Merrimack, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree assault, attempted second-degree assault, three counts of simple assault and criminal restraint. The warrant was filed earlier the same day based on a complaint filed with the Merrimack Police Department by a family member, according to a press release.
Police say Bobola physically restrained and assaulted a family member during an argument at home. Bobola was held on $50,000 cash-only bail in the Hillsborough County House of Correction on Wednesday night. He was scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 3.
