Merrimack Police Lieutenant Delivers Pizza For Delivery Driver After Crash
A Domino's delivery driver was taken to the hospital after a crash. So Lt. Michael Marcotte made sure her delivery was completed Thursday.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack Fire Rescue and police were sent to a report of an accident with injury in the area of 567 Daniel Webster Highway on Thursday.
Responders arrived at about 6:45 p.m. and found two vehicles with heavy damage and one person injured. The two vehicles involved were a pick-up truck and a passenger car.
The woman driving the car was treated and taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. Merrimack Police Lt. Michael Marcotte learned the woman was delivering an order from Domino’s to a Merrimack resident. The woman had left the Domino’s just down the road at 456 Daniel Webster Highway en route to deliver a pizza order to the resident.

After the scene was secure and other officers began paperwork, Marcotte notified dispatch he was clearing the accident to make the pizza delivery to the customer who was expecting their order. He decided to step up and go above and beyond by helping the driver, local business, and the customer.
Both vehicles could not be driven and were towed from the scene by Bailey’s Towing and Lewis Towing of Merrimack.
