Merrimack Man Arrested for Stealing from Tip Jar
The following arrest information was provided by the Merrimack Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Merrimack man was charged last week with theft by unauthorized taking for allegedly stealing money from a tip jar at a local Dunkin' Donuts.
David Raymond, 25, of 16 Pleasant St., Merrimack turned himself in to the Merrimack Police Department for an outstanding warrant for theft by unauthorized taking on Oct. 1.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation that started on Sept. 12, police say, when they were called to Dunkin' Donuts at 308 Daniel Webster Highway for a theft.The cashier told police a male subject had just stolen the money from his tip jar. Police say they were able to obtain a description of the suspect and canvassed the area, where they located Raymond. Through the description and images obtained from the store's surveillance camera police were able to identify Raymond as the suspect and get a warrant. Raymond was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack, on Oct. 12.

Also arrested since the beginning of October are:
Peter Orleans, 46, of 26 Valley View Drive, Merrimack, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and suspended registrations on Oct. 4.

Police say they stopped Orleans on Daniel Webster Highway for an equipment violation and during a record check learned his license and registration were both suspended by the director of motor vehicles for New Hampshire. Orleans was arrested and placed on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is dues in the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on Oct. 12.
Scott Mcentee, 47, of 3 Dailey Street, Apt. G, Attleboro, Mass., was charged with two counts of domestic simple assault and obstructing the report of a crime. On Oct. 2, around 10:30 p.m., Merrimack Police responded to a local hotel for the report of a domestic disturbance. One of the persons involved, identified as Mcentee, was subsequently arrested for assaulting another household/family member. It was also reported that when the victim first tried to call the police, Mcentee grabbed the cell phone from them. Mcentee was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on Oct. 12.
Matheus Almeida, 17, of 1 Beard St. Nashua, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, a second offense on Oct. 3. Merrimack Police say they stopped a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta just after 2:30 p.m. in the town hall parking lot for a motor vehicle infraction. When the officer spoke with the driver, Almeida, it was learned he did not have a valid license. When the officer checked Almeida’s driving history he was found to have been recently convicted out of the Nashua court for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. Almeida was arrested and released on $750 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in front of the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on Oct. 12.
