Merrimack Man Charged in Parking Lot Assault

The following information was provided by Merrimack Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Merrimack man was charged over the weekend after turning himself in on a warrant for two counts of simple assault and criminal mischief.

Michael Lott, 31, of 91 Amherst Road, Merrimack, was charged based on a warrant from Oct. 30 when police were called to a local business by a man who said he'd been assaulted. 

Police say through a short investigation, they determined Lott assaulted the victim and damaged the interior of the victim's vehicle during an altercation in the parking lot of the business.

Lott was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear Merrimack district court on Dec. 3 to answer to the charges.
