Merrimack Man Injured in Weekend Motorcycle Crash

A Merrimack man was injured Sunday when his 2012 Harley Davidson was hit by a minivan at the intersection of Greeley Street and Amherst Road.

Police say Hayden Beckman Jr., 43, of 11 Independence Drive, Merrimack was taken to the Eliot Hospital in Manchester for non-life-threatening injuries sustained when his bike was rear-ended by a 2008 Town and Country van, operated by Jennifer Twardosky, 43, of 82 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack.

Police and fire and rescue were called to the accident around 2:15 p.m. Hayden complained of injury and was transported by Merrimack Ambulance to the area hospital.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage. The accident remains under investigation by the Merrimack Police Department. It is not known at this time if any charges will be brought forward.
