Merrimack Microbrewery Aiming for Spring Opening
Able Ebenezer is in the midst of construction activities right now.
Able Ebenezer Brewing Co., a new Merrimack microbrewery, is hoping it will be ready to open by the spring.
Carl Soderberg, one of the microbrewery's principal owners, said in an email this week that work continues on the interior of the building at 31 Columbia Circle.
"The largest hurdle was overcome last week when we received our Brewer's Qualification from the federal government," Soderberg said. "At 31 Columbia, we're in the midst of construction activities right now, including the completion of the brewing system and tasting room. The last pieces of brewing equipment arrive in the next couple weeks, then we begin engineering runs (characterizing and optimizing the system)."
He said the microbrewery remains on track for a spring opening, with plans for a grand opening around the beginning of May.
