Merrimack Police: Bedford Man Arrested For Alledged Drunk Driving

Police arrested Bedford man on Daniel Webster Highway this weekend after he was suspected for drunk driving.

MERRIMACK, NH - Police arrested Bedford man on Daniel Webster Highway this weekend after he was suspected for drunk driving.

According to Merrimack Police, Ronald Morneau II, 46, of Bedford, N.H. was charged with OUIL and yellow line violations.

Police said an officer was patrolling the highway when he observed a motor vehicle traveling at 65 m.p.h. in a posted 35 m.p.h. zone.

Police said Morneau II showed signs of impairment and after a brief investigation he was arrested for OUIL. Morneau was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was processed and later released on $2,000 PR bail.

He is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court, Merrimack District on May 10.
