Merrimack Police: Woman Charged With Assault After Walgreens Call

Merrimack police said Amber Grygiel was charged with domestic violence after assaulting an individual.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Merrimack woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she assaulted an individual. Amber Grygiel, 21, was charged with domestic violence, criminal mischief and obstructing the report of a crime.

Merrimack police Lieutenant Kenneth MacLeod said officers encountered Grygiel Tuesday night after they were called to the Walgreens on the Daniel Webster Highway for a report of a domestic disturbance.

MacLeod said Grygiel became engaged in a verbal argument with the victim. The victim tried to leave and call police, at which point Grygiel chased the victim, jumped and on the victim's back and "destroyed" the victim's phone, MacLeod said.
